Axios NYC ~ Eastern and Orthodox LGBT Christians

Axios is the Greek word meaning 'worthy.' 

This organization of LGBT Eastern and Orthodox Christians, their friends, families and allies, was formed in New York City in 1982. 

We affirm the fundamental dignity, worthiness, and holiness of all of God's family.  As Eastern and Orthodox LGBT Christians, we are united in the ancient faith of the apostles and we seek to support one another in our striving for integration of healthy, holy LGBT sexuality and religious faith.
